A 1982 graduate of Chaparral High School in Las Vegas, Graig attended the University of Texas at Austin on full academic scholarship, majoring in physics, and was first exposed to real estate working part-time in the office of a prominent urban office developer. Intrigued by the industry, he returned to Las Vegas in 1988, and secured his Nevada real estate license. His first position was with Century 21, with a focus on land. He became the office trainer for commercial and land and received numerous sales awards including finalist for the 1989 national listing competition. From 1990 to 2002 he worked in the Southern Nevada market for some of the area's top firms and eventually opened his own company. Graig was a beta-tester for the first GIS and computer-based property listing and information systems, and spent time specializing in office, industrial, retail and land, providing him with a broad range of expertise and experience. He represented many national home builders in land acquisition and consulted on commercial-residential planning integration for several large communities. In 2002, he moved to St. George, Utah. Over the next ten years, he worked with Colliers International and owned Kemp Griffin Commercial which became Coldwell Banker Commercial, and then Artisan Real Estate Advisors. In February of 2010, he joined Keller Williams Realty St. George to launch the new KW Commercial brand. Graig developed the Builder Services and New Home Specialists groups and represents home builders, projects, and new construction clients on both marketing and branding/positioning.

Graig has experience in most areas of real estate including; residential, retail, office, and industrial sales and leasing; development; investment sales; gaming properties; and independent fee-based consulting. He won the 1996 Chairman's Award, NAI's highest honor for brokerage excellence chosen by his peers, and was named in Las Vegas Business Press 1995 annual “Top 40 under 40” business leaders for the category of commercial real estate. Graig wrote and taught Clark County School District's first full-year real estate course, with elements on urban planning, property analysis, and development.

He is active in many industry groups, holds the SIOR designation and is a candidate for the CCIM and ALC designations. Mr. Griffin works as an advisor to developers on project design and brokerage, and works with several other real estate firms on technology and marketing.
